Ryan Witholt, LMT BCTMBRyan D Witholt, LMT BCTMB, BA

Director of Marketing, Anatriptic Arts Inc

Ryan made the first steps of his journey into the healing arts when he enrolled at the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1995. While pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychobiology, he was drawn to Ashtanga Yoga and began to experience its benefits. Meanwhile, Ryan worked as a research assistant eventually authoring a paper on the negative behavioral outcomes of industrial environmental toxins.

After graduating with honors in 1999, he realized that in order to fulfill his passion for an integrative solution to health and wellness, he would need to continue his education outside of his original western medical direction. Ryan traveled around the US, Europe and Caribbean for the next 6 years before discovering that massage therapy might be part of the solution to helping people maintain their health and prevent disease. In 2005 he attended the Nevada School of Massage Therapy, where he received a broad education in massage therapy. Since then, he has gone on to specialize in Structural Bodywork, Craniosacral Therapy and Seated Massage. Ryan’s private practice, Therapeutic Bodywork, is focused primarily on medical referrals and in 2012 he began teaching at the Nevada School of Massage Therapy, where he helps students learn the art and science of massage therapy.
